Description
Theoretical and practical course with simulators, in which the standard of surgical closure of the abdominal wall is reviewed, the most relevant complications are analyzed, and the key maneuvers are performed.
Goals
- To show to the students the standard of laparotomy closure, which without claiming to be the only valid form, if we can consider it correct based on current scientific evidence.
- Raise awareness of the importance of surgical wound infection.
