  • CLASSROOM for 30 people, equipped with:
    • Projector
    • Projection screen
    • Computer for presentations, and connections for using the speaker computer, if so desired
    • Video camera to record or transmit the activity, both to another CREBA room and to outside
    • Microphones
    • Speakers for presentations, for in situ lecturers, or for lecturers connected from another CREBA room, or from outside
    • Furniture adaptable to different activity formats

  • CLASSROOM for 10 people, equipped with:
    • Projector
    • Projection screen
    • Computer for presentations, and connections for using the speaker computer, if so desired
    • Speakers for presentations and for in situ lecturers

    • 28″ screen with connection to any computer or device via wifi
    • Immediate electronic voting system (Custom Vote)
    • Digital system for broadcasting images and/or videos in spaces adjoining to teaching rooms

  • 3 OPERATION ROOMS, 43-m2 surface each one. The construction were carried out in accordance with standards of operating rooms for the Human.
  • EQUIPMENT of each operation room:
    • Full equipment for laparoscopic surgery (Karl Storz, Germany), with the possibility of fluorescence-guided surgery and 3D technology
    • 43″ and 24″ screens for receiving images from the laparoscopy systems, from a zenith camera over the surgery, or from other camera. Also, these screens can be connected to  computers or mobile devices
    • Surgical LED lamps, with control of the color temperature, luminosity and amplitude of the light focus
    • Audiovisual equipment that allows live viewing, recording and broadcasting of interventions in high definition
    • Mobile columns with electrical, gas, video and audio connections, and with control of surgical lamps
    • Centralized supply of gases (O2, CO2, and medical air) and vacuum
  • MULTIPLE OPERATING ROOM, 88-m2 surface. The construction were carried out in accordance with standards of operating rooms for the Human.
  • EQUIPMENT of the multiple operation room:
    • Two 40″ screens, for receiving images from the laparoscopy systems, from a zenith camera over surgery or from another camera. Likewise, these screens can be connected to computers or mobile devices
    • 5 surgical LED lamps, with control of the color temperature, luminosity and amplitude of the light focus
    • Audiovisual equipment that allows live viewing, recording and broadcasting of interventions in high definition
    • Centralized supply of gases (O2, CO2, and medical air) and vacuum
  • MOBILE EQUIPMENT: to offer maximum versatility, a large part of our equipment is mobile and can be located in the operating room that is required:
    • 6 racks with full equipment for laparoscopic surgery (Karl Storz, Germany)
    • 8 electrosurgery units (monopolar and bipolar energy platforms)
    • 8 systems for inhalation anesthesia and mechanical ventilation for large animals
    • 8 systems for cardiovascular and respiratory monitoring for large animals
    • C-arm X-Ray system (Philips, model BV Endura) for orthopedics and angiography
    • Rack with leaded aprons (1 mm lead) and other radiological protections
    • 28″ screen with wifi connection to any computer or device
    • Ultrasound scanner
    • System for monitoring of parasympathetic tone (PTA)
    • Desfibrillator
    • 10 stainless-steel surgical tables, with a surface of 150 x 60 cm, in the form of 2 tilting sheets (book type). Electric and adjustable in height and inclination
    • 4 surgical tables with radiolucent surface 150 x 60 cm. Electric and adjustable in  height

Teaching with inert or biological materials (ex vivo), can be done in various rooms:

  • CLASSROOM (53 m2) with mobile furniture
  • SIMULATION ROOM (32 m2), equipped with:
    • 5 hydraulic tables, adjustable in height
    • 5 simulators of laparoscopic surgery (TELE PACK pelvitrainers; Karl Storz, Germany)
    • Laparoscopic instruments
  • OPERATION ROOM (88 m2), equipped with:

For all training activities, CREBA manages the following services:

  • Management of registrations, certificates, and other documentation
  • Management of on-site catering
  • Management of the official authorization for the use of experimental animals, when required
