Goals
Main goal:
Acquire surgical skills to perform measurements of hemostasis and aerostasis in lung lobectomies via VATS.
Specific objectives:
- Know the indications of application of sealing and hemostatic agents in the context of performing endoscopic major pulmonary resections.
- Application of sealants effectively for correct aerostasis and hemostasis.
- Be able to perform a top left lobectomy VATS in the experimental model

Course details
The teaching methodology used will be active and eminently practical, centered on the student. A small part of the course will be targeted to theoretical concepts, with an update of the fundamental concepts and advanced, and a time specifically for discussion among students, lecturers and course monitors. Audiovisuals will be projected on the techniques that the students will have to practice later, enhancing the participation of the students to be able to solve their concrete doubts. The rest of the class time will be practical using advanced simulation models and animal models, with the constant support of the monitors.
