This year, 2026, marks the 10th anniversary of CREBA’s launch, and we have plenty to celebrate!

Over the coming months, we will be sharing the reasons to celebrate, and we’ll start with the first one!:

From the very beginning, we have enjoyed the ongoing support of the Lleida Provincial Council, which first facilitated the construction and opening of the Centre, and has since addressed needs that have enabled the growth of our training, research and outreach activities, both in terms of quantity and quality. Among the projects funded in recent years, we can highlight the refurbishment to expand and improve the animal housing area, which has increased biosecurity, made the work of technicians and vets easier, improved housing conditions for the animals, and enabled studies that would have been unfeasible in the original facilities.

In short, thanks to these works, which began in 2023, we have been able to work more and better, and are now eligible for quality certifications which we hope to obtain in the coming months.
